'For the exhibition identity of 'Jiří David – A Preliminary Retrospective', Claudia Doms collaborated with designer Radim Peško. The concept for the exhibition grew from the understanding that Jiří David's work does not allow for a definitive classification as the artist is working with various media and quickly moves from one subject to the other, whilst freely using political and popular symbols and signs. The illustrations drawn for this exhibition translated the artist's spirit of 'running away' from being placed in the art world. They where used for a variety applications in combination with David's work and standing on their own.'
