MY BROTHER AND BART SIMPSON

This wall painting shows my brother (with Bart Simpson t-shirt).
I first painted the portrait on 72 wooden panels which I then applied to the movable walls in the graphic design department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
The painting is inspired by my brother Adrian and an exhibition in 'De Appel' – in which the empty walls left a bigger impression on me than the works.
