BOTANIC GARDEN was made during my semester at the Cooper Union in New York. All footage was shot in the Botanic Garden (the Bronx) on 8mm film.
The voiceover in part 1 is narrated by Ross McLaren, a canadian filmmaker who has been of great influence for my work and way of looking at things. The words he is speaking are taken from a famous Super8 film supplier. Part 2 is a text by Anne Frank spoken by myself. Part 3 contains the midi version of Alison Moyet's 'All cried out'.
