Originally I designed VERBATIM for an Amsterdam based dance/music duo. Unfortunately the project never went through.
Much like the performers idea to work with an 'alphabet of movements', I designed a typeface as the main source of all applied design works. Verbatim is constructed from a single line which builts up the skeleton of an oldstyle serif font. At certain typesize, letters lose their information content and start to work as pure form.
