DE BRAKKE GROND is a presentation space for performing and visual arts with focus on Flemish art. This newspaper includes reviews on the latest presentations, the new program and other articles relevant to Flemish culture.
DE BRAKKE GROND is in transformation, re-locating itself in the Amsterdam theater/art scene. To illustrate this search for the new identity we thought of using half of the newspaper as a platform for artists from different fields (related to de Brakke Grond or Flanders) to give their vision on DE BRAKKE GROND.
Each invited artist is given a double page to react to the topic 'De Brakke Grond is...', resulting in 4 new posters.
For the first issue of this newspaper the following artists were invited:
Fia Cielen, Arno Coenen, Chris Van Camp and Kalle Mattsson.
